Plane crashes into residential home in the US: No survivors reported

It has been announced that a small plane that took off from Des Moines International Airport in the state of Iowa has crashed in Minneapolis, Minnesota. It was reported that those on board the small plane, which crashed into a house in the area, lost their lives.

Officials from the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) stated that the exact number of people on board the plane, which crashed into a house far from the city center, has not yet been clarified, but that everyone inside the plane had lost their lives.

According to a report by CBS News, the Socata TBM 700 model aircraft crashed into a residence at approximately 12:20 local time. There were no survivors in the plane crash that occurred in Brooklyn Park.

The Federal Aviation Administration announced that the aircraft involved in the crash had taken off from Des Moines International Airport. The flight was scheduled to land at Anoka County-Blaine Airport.

Fire Chief Shawn Conway stated in a press briefing that the passengers on the plane could not be saved, adding the following:

'Everyone who was in the house at the time of the crash was safely evacuated.'

A NEAR MISS OCCURRED ONE DAY EARLIER

The National Transportation Safety Board announced that an investigation team would arrive in the area on Sunday. The Federal Aviation Administration will also conduct a separate investigation. Minnesota Governor Tim Walz stated in a post on social media that they are working in coordination with local authorities. The Governor extended his thanks to emergency response teams.

The incident marks the second aviation-related event in the region. One day earlier, a Delta Air Lines plane and a military jet nearly collided near Washington D.C.

Fire crews arriving at the scene encountered a residence that was completely engulfed in flames. Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the crash.
