President Erdoğan meets with Guterres and other leaders in New York for UN General Assembly

AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan continued his diplomatic contacts in New York, where he is attending the 81st United Nations (UN) General Assembly.

According to the Presidency's Directorate of Communications, Erdoğan held meetings with numerous leaders, most notably UN Secretary-General António Guterres, as part of his engagements.

The meetings in New York were recorded as part of the diplomatic traffic conducted on the margins of the UN General Assembly. Erdoğan's contacts are expected to continue throughout the General Assembly process.
