President Trump uses striking expressions in his first speech
President-elect Donald Trump has been sworn in as the 47th President of the United States. Thus, the second Trump era in America has begun. In his first speech after becoming President, Trump used the phrase, 'The golden age of the US is beginning.'
There was a high turnout for the inauguration ceremony, which took place in the congressional hall due to adverse weather conditions.

Shortly after taking his place in Congress, Donald Trump took his oath.

TECH GIANTS ALSO AT THE INAUGURATION
Tech giants Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, Google CEO Sundar Pichai, TikTok CEO Shou Chew, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, Space X-Tesla and X owner Elon Musk, and Apple CEO Tim Cook also attended Trump’s inauguration ceremony.

APPOINTED MANY BUSINESS PEOPLE TO CRITICAL POSITIONS
Stephen Feinberg, Vivek Ramaswamy, Warren Stephens, Elon Musk, Mehmet Oz, Howard Lutnick, Chris Wright, Linda McMahon, Doug Burgum, Jared Isaacman, Scott Bessent, Frank Bisignano, and many other names were appointed to the country's most critical positions alongside Trump. These appointments will be officially implemented following Senate confirmation.
Trump appointed two tech giants, Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy, to head the “Department of Government Efficiency” (DOGE). South African-born Elon Musk is the head of companies such as Tesla, SpaceX, and X, and is the world's wealthiest person.

TRUMP TOOK THE PRESIDENTIAL OATH

TRUMP GAVE HIS FIRST SPEECH AFTER THE PRESIDENTIAL OATH:

Trump said the following:
“The golden age of America is now beginning. We will no longer allow ourselves to be taken advantage of. Very simply, I will put America first. The scales of justice will be rebalanced. Our highest priority will be to create a proud, prosperous, and free nation. We will no longer allow ourselves to be taken advantage of. From this moment on, America's decline has ended. Our freedoms and our nation's glorious destiny will no longer be denied.”
Describing himself as “confident and optimistic,” Trump said, “We are at the beginning of an exciting new era of national success. A wave of change is sweeping the country. Sunlight is illuminating the whole world, and America has the chance to seize this opportunity better than ever before. We must be honest about the challenges we face.”
He stated that these problems are “numerous,” but that they “will be destroyed by this great momentum that the world is currently witnessing.”
Speaking of a ‘crisis of confidence’ in the government, which he said could not handle “a simple crisis at home,” Trump vowed to return “their wealth, their democracy” to the people.
Stating that the country will be respected again and will be “a country that every nation will envy,” Trump also noted that the “weaponization” of the Department of Justice will be ended.
REMINDED OF THE ASSASSINATION ATTEMPT
Trump recalled the armed attack he suffered while addressing his supporters from the podium at his rally in the Butler area of Pennsylvania on July 13, 2024.
Trump said, “Just a few months ago, on a beautiful piece of land in Pennsylvania, an assassin's bullet tore through my ear. But I felt it then, and I believe even more now, that my life was saved for a reason. I was saved by God to make America great again.”
WILL DECLARE A 'NATIONAL EMERGENCY'
Trump announced that he would sign “a series of historic executive orders” and launch a “revolution of common sense.”
Stating that he would declare a “national emergency” at the US southern border, Trump announced that all illegal entries would be “stopped immediately” and that the government would begin sending back “millions of criminal aliens.”
Stating that he would designate cartels as “foreign terrorist organizations,” Trump said he would order the elimination of the presence of all foreign gangs.
Noting that his cabinet would “beat” record inflation and lower prices, Trump stated that he would “declare a national energy emergency.”
Trump said, “We will drill, baby, drill.”
CUSTOMS DUTIES WILL BE APPLIED TO FOREIGN COUNTRIES
Stating that the “liquid gold under our feet” would make America “a wealthy nation again,” Trump expressed that his administration would end the Green New Deal and cancel the electric vehicle mandate.
“We will impose customs duties and tariffs on foreign countries to enrich our citizens,” said Trump, adding that a Foreign Revenue Service would be established for this purpose and the trade system would be overhauled.
Announcing that he would establish a Foreign Revenue Service “to collect all customs duties, tariffs, and revenues” while remaining tied to the economy, Trump argued that this would result in “a large amount of money flowing into the treasury.”
Trump also promised to end all government censorship and “bring free speech back to America,” declaring, “The immense power of the state will never again be used as a weapon to persecute political opponents.”
“THERE WILL BE ONLY TWO GENDERS IN SOCIETY”
Noting that the government's policy of “subjecting race and gender to social engineering in every area of public and private life” would end, Trump said, “From today on, it will be the official policy of the US government that there are only two genders, male and female. We will create a colorblind and merit-based society.”
“WE WILL BUILD THE STRONGEST MILITARY THE WORLD HAS EVER SEEN”
Promising to build “the strongest military the world has ever seen,” Trump said he wanted to be a “peacemaker and unifier.”
Trump said, “We will measure our success not only by the wars we win, but also by the wars we end, and perhaps most importantly, by the wars we never enter. America will reclaim its rightful place as the greatest, most powerful, and most respected nation on earth.”
“WE ARE TAKING BACK THE PANAMA CANAL”
Drawing attention to the Panama Canal, Trump said, “China is operating the Panama Canal, and we didn't give it to China, we gave it to Panama. Now we are taking it back.”
Trump also said that the Gulf of Mexico would be renamed the Gulf of America.
“And we will give the name of a great president, William McKinley, back to where it should be and where it belongs, 'Mount McKinley',” said Trump, reversing the decision to name it ‘Denali’ during the presidency of Barack Obama.
EMPHASIZED 'MARS'
Expressing his hope to wave the nation's flag on Mars, Trump noted that ambition is the “lifeblood” of the US.
“We will follow our open destiny toward the stars by launching American astronauts to plant the stars and stripes on the planet Mars. And right now, our nation is more ambitious than any other. There is no nation like our nation. Americans are explorers, builders, innovators, entrepreneurs, and pioneers,” said Trump, arguing that nothing could stand in the way of the US.
Stating that the country would be respected and admired, Trump said, “We will be prosperous, we will be proud, we will be strong, and we will win like never before. Our golden age has just begun.”
