Prison break alert in the US: 11 inmates escape from jail

The escape of 11 inmates from a jail in New Orleans, Louisiana, in the US, has caused significant concern across the state. The Louisiana State Police confirmed in a statement on the social media platform X that the inmates had escaped from the facility.

Authorities have only managed to capture one of the escaped inmates. Search operations are continuing around the clock to locate the other 10 individuals. An investigation was immediately launched after the discrepancy was noticed during the morning headcount.

It was stated that the escaped inmates are between the ages of 19 and 42 and are all male. The incident has raised serious questions regarding security vulnerabilities.
