King Charles III of England underwent a procedure for an enlarged prostate. Queen Camilla has updated the public on the King's health status.
It was announced in recent weeks that King Charles, who ascended the throne on September 8, 2022, following the death of his mother Queen Elizabeth and was crowned in a ceremony held at Westminster Abbey on May 6, would undergo a procedure.
It was stated that King Charles would go under the knife due to an enlarged prostate.
A number of engagements for the 75-year-old King were postponed due to the operation he was set to undergo.
'ADMITTED TO HOSPITAL'
In a statement made to People by Buckingham Palace yesterday, it was said, "The King was admitted to a London hospital this morning for a planned treatment. His Majesty would like to thank all those who have sent their good wishes over the past week and is delighted to learn that his diagnosis is having a positive impact on public health awareness."
