Queen Camilla's first statement on King Charles

Following his hospitalization and subsequent discharge for an enlarged prostate in recent weeks, it was announced that King Charles III of England has been diagnosed with cancer.

A 'THANK YOU' MESSAGE FROM THE HEIR

Prince William, the 41-year-old heir to the throne, spoke about his 75-year-old father's health at a fundraising gala for London’s Air Ambulance, which he attended yesterday. Speaking at the event, the Prince of Wales said, "I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you for the kind messages of support for Catherine and for my father."

Prince William added, "It means a great deal to us all." The Prince continued, "It’s fair to say the last few weeks have had a rather 'medical' focus. So I thought I’d come to an air ambulance function to get away from it all."

NEW STATEMENT FROM THE QUEEN

Queen Camilla spoke about her husband, King Charles, who has been diagnosed with cancer, at a charity event. Stating that she was "very touched" by all the messages of support received for her husband, the Queen said that King Charles is "doing extremely well under the circumstances."

Due to King Charles's treatment process, Queen Camilla will take on more duties during this period. While King Charles has postponed all public-facing engagements, it is known that he continues to work on state papers.

Prince William, the heir to the throne, may also attend some events to represent his father, but no specific events have been confirmed yet.
