Rapidly spreading mysterious disease causes alarm...
Twelve people have lost their lives due to an undiagnosed disease that causes skin rashes.
In the Kyotera district of Uganda, 12 people who showed symptoms of skin rashes have died in the last 2 weeks.
The Ugandan Ministry of Health has launched an investigation into the disease. According to a report by The Daily Monitor, local health workers stated that the rashes appearing on the patients' skin grew larger, and the patients passed away a few days later.
While samples were taken from the skin of the deceased, initial test results determined that the disease is not Ebola, Marburg, or Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever virus.
