Rock star Jon Bon Jovi prevents suicide attempt: Saves a woman's life

Rock star Jon Bon Jovi encountered a woman attempting to commit suicide by jumping from a bridge in Nashville, Tennessee, where he had arrived for a video shoot. By talking to the woman and persuading her, Bon Jovi prevented the suicide attempt and saved her life.

In the incident that took place on Tuesday, the 62-year-old star managed to convince the woman who was attempting suicide on the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge.

In the footage released by the police, the rock star and another person with him notice a woman in blue clothing on the edge of the bridge and approach her to start a conversation. In the footage, where it is understood that Jon Bon Jovi is trying to persuade the woman, the rock star succeeds in convincing her and pulls her over the railing by her arms.

Making a statement regarding the incident, Nashville Police Chief John Drake praised the famous star, saying, 'A shout out to Jon Bon Jovi and his team for helping a woman on the Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge Tuesday night. Bon Jovi helped persuade her to come off the ledge over the Cumberland River to safety.'
