The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that two settlements in the Donetsk region have come under the control of the army.
Russia has announced that 2 settlements in the Donetsk region have been captured by Russian military units.
In a statement from the Russian Ministry of Defense, information was provided regarding the activities of Russian military units in the Russia-Ukraine War.
Stating that the Russian army continues to advance along the front line in Ukraine, the statement included the following: "Units belonging to the central and southern military groups, as a result of successful actions, have liberated the settlements of Spornoye and Novoaleksandrovka in the Donetsk People's Republic."
The statement, which reported that 72 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) belonging to the Ukrainian army were shot down, noted the following:
"Since the beginning of the military operation, 616 aircraft, 276 helicopters, 26 thousand 968 UAVs, 535 air defense missile systems, 16 thousand 463 tanks and armored vehicles, 1361 multiple rocket launchers, 11 thousand 129 howitzers and mortars, and 23 thousand 136 special military vehicles belonging to the Ukrainian army have been destroyed."
