Russia: We carried out a missile strike on a military training center in Ukraine
The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that they carried out an attack on a military training center in Ukraine's Sumy region using an 'Iskander' short-range ballistic missile system.
In a statement from the Russian Ministry of Defense, it was reported that a training center for the 1st Special Forces Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was discovered near the settlement of Shostka in the Sumy region.
The statement said, "In accordance with the obtained coordinates, an attack was carried out with an Iskander short-range ballistic missile system. As a result of the attack, approximately 70 soldiers, including 20 instructors, were neutralized, and an ammunition depot along with 10 pieces of military equipment were destroyed."
