Russian Army captures Katerinovka

The Russian Ministry of Defense shared information regarding developments in the special military operation zone over the last 24 hours. According to the statement, as a result of the decisive actions of Russian army units, the settlement of Katerinovka in the Donetsk People's Republic was liberated from Ukrainian occupation.

Continuing to defeat enemy forces along the front, the Russian army continued to advance into the depths of the enemy's defenses and improve its tactical position over the last day.

The Ukrainian army's losses amounted to 1,250 soldiers, one tank, and eight armored combat vehicles.

As a result of group strikes carried out by warplanes, unmanned aerial vehicles, and missiles against 137 Ukrainian targets, UAV control centers, missile and artillery ammunition depots, and areas where Ukrainian soldiers and military equipment were concentrated were destroyed.

Russian air defense forces destroyed three US-made HIMARS missiles and 95 aircraft-type UAVs belonging to the Ukrainian army.
