Russian opposition leader Navalny's wife Yulia:

Tensions remain high following the death of Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny today in a prison on the Yamal Peninsula in Russia. The Russian opposition leader's wife, Yulia Navalny, spoke at the 60th Munich Security Conference held in Germany.

Stating that she approached the news of her husband's death with skepticism because it was announced by Russian government sources, Yulia Navalny said, "But if this is true, I want Putin, his entire entourage, Putin's friends, and his government to know that they will bear responsibility for what they did to our country, to my family, and to my husband. And that day will come very soon."

"THEY ALWAYS LIE"

Emphasizing that they cannot trust Putin and his government, Yulia Navalny said through tears, "They always lie."

Calling on the international community to unite against what she described as Russia's "horrific regime," Yulia Navalny stated, "Both this regime and Putin must bear personal responsibility for all the terrible things they have done to my country, to our country, to Russia, in recent years."
