According to the German newspaper Berliner Zeitung, an 18-year-old female student and a 30-year-old individual, who was said to have been trying to stop the attack, lost their lives in the knife attack that occurred around 13:45 local time, while 2 others were injured.
Police, who arrived at the scene with numerous teams and personnel, reported that one suspect had been taken into custody.
The local newspaper Maerkische Allgemeine claimed that the suspect was the 19-year-old ex-boyfriend of the deceased student.
