Second aid convoy for Gaza reaches Rafah Border Crossing
It has been reported that a second aid convoy has entered Gaza, which is under Israeli blockade, through the Rafah Border Crossing.
Wael Abu Mohsen, Director of the Rafah Border Crossing Press Office, stated in a statement to an AA reporter that Egypt opened the Rafah Border Crossing for the entry of 14 trucks carrying food, medicine, and water into Gaza.
Abu Mohsen noted that the trucks would be handed over to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) and would subsequently be distributed to Palestinians.
''ANOTHER SMALL BEAM OF HOPE''
Martin Griffiths, United Nations Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator, also commented on the 14 trucks entering Gaza in a statement on his X social media account, describing it as "another small beam of hope for millions of people in dire need of humanitarian aid."
The first aid convoy, consisting of a total of 20 trucks, had entered Gaza on October 21.
