Shocking reaction to main opposition leader in the UK
In the UK, a person who reacted to Labour Party leader Keir Starmer for not supporting calls for a ceasefire in Gaza asked him, "Where is your humanity?"
In the UK, main opposition leader Starmer faced reactions from citizens over Gaza during his train journey to Glasgow to attend the Scottish Labour Party's gala dinner and at the train station after his arrival.
A person who approached him during the journey asked, "Keir, how many more children need to die in Palestine before you call for a ceasefire? More than 7,000 children have died. More than 7,000 children have been slaughtered by Israel. This is unacceptable. So where are human rights? Where is democracy?”
During the moments when Keir Starmer remained silent, security personnel attempted to remove the person reacting to the main opposition leader from his side.
Continuing to press Starmer with questions, the person stated that they wanted peace and democracy, and used the following expressions:
"We don't see any of this when it comes to Palestinians. 7,000 children. How many more people need to die? 20,000 people. How many more people need to die? This is unacceptable. Where is your humanity? Where is your humanity?"
The same person, who also approached Starmer after he got off the train and was met with protests from a group at the station, said this time, "Keir Starmer, you are facilitating Israel's genocide in Gaza. Stop the killing of children. Stop the slaughter of more than 7,000 babies."
The person, who chanted slogans such as "Free Palestine" and "Stop the genocide," walked behind Keir Starmer and said, "You are responsible for the killing of babies in Gaza. Shame on you."
