Following the withdrawal of Israeli forces, the Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani Hospital for Rehabilitation and Prosthetics, located in the northwest of Gaza City, and its surrounding area, which were targets of intense attacks, were filmed.

TUNNEL CLAIM REFUTED

In a statement on November 5, 2023, Israeli Army Spokesperson Daniel Hagari had claimed that Israeli soldiers had found a Hamas tunnel in the garden of the Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani Hospital for Rehabilitation and Prosthetics.

Qatar also denied the claim that there were Hamas tunnels under the hospital on November 6.

The Qatar Committee for the Reconstruction of the Gaza Strip, affiliated with the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs, established the Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani Hospital for Rehabilitation and Prosthetics in the Gaza Strip in 2019 with a financial donation worth 407 million dollars.

The Israeli army withdrew from areas in the northwest of Gaza City and the northern Gaza Strip on Thursday for the first time since the start of its ground operation.

The Israeli army launched a ground operation on October 27, 2023, which included attacks on many regions and neighborhoods in the Gaza Strip.
