Statement from Trump on Iran: Strait of Hormuz is almost entirely under our control
In a statement regarding Iran, U.S. President Donald Trump argued that control of the Strait of Hormuz is "almost entirely" in the hands of the U.S. Trump stated that the Iranian economy has collapsed and delivered harsh messages to the Tehran administration.
U.S. President Donald Trump stated in his remarks regarding Iran that he is not trying to force the Tehran administration to return to the negotiating table.
In his post on the Truth social media platform, Trump labeled a report by the ABC broadcasting network as "fake news." Expressing that he does not care whether Iran signs an agreement that he considers worthless, Trump said he is satisfied with the current situation.
In his post, Trump stated, "I like the current situation where the Strait of Hormuz is almost entirely under our control and the Iranian economy is completely collapsed much more."
As tensions in the region rise again following the latest U.S. attacks on Iran, Trump claimed that Iran is heading toward an "inevitable end." The U.S. President also called on the Iranian people to rise up against the Tehran regime, asking, "When will the Iranian people rise up and fight?"
