Statement on reports that China's Consul General in New York was expelled

Miller stated that Consul General Huang left his post as planned after completing his term, noting that he was not expelled.

Reports in the U.S. press had stated that New York Governor Kathy Hochul said during an event that she had "conveyed her desire for the consul general to be expelled and was informed that the consul general was no longer in the New York mission."
