Egyptian state television announced that the two leaders signed strategic partnership agreements in critical areas such as transportation, health, and education. Macron's visit focuses on the trilateral summit to be held with Egyptian President Sisi and King Abdullah II of Jordan.

During the talks, it is planned to sign a total of 12 economic agreements covering areas such as health, transportation, water, and renewable energy, in addition to a new health agreement between Cairo and Paris for the treatment of Palestinians evacuated from Gaza.
