Striking statements from Jeffrey Epstein's brother in the sex trafficking scandal! He accused the former Attorney General

New details continue to emerge in the sex trafficking scandal involving U.S. billionaire Jeffrey Epstein, who was accused of creating a sex trafficking ring and sexually abusing girls under the age of 18, the youngest being 14, and who died by suicide in 2019 while in custody before his trial.

Jeffrey Epstein's brother, Mark Epstein, criticized former U.S. Attorney General Bill Barr, who served under former U.S. President Donald Trump and described his brother's death as an "apparent suicide," during an appearance on the cable TV program NewsNation.

Arguing that while his brother had made many mistakes, he also had "many reasons" not to commit suicide, Mark Epstein claimed that the investigation into his death was not conducted properly.

Mark Epstein alleged that his brother had uncovered some "dirty information" about former President Trump and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, but did not share the details with him.

"WHO WAS HE PROTECTING?"

Stating that he was not involved in his brother's daily life and therefore did not know what he knew, Mark Epstein said, "You have to ask Bill Barr. If he is covering this up (Epstein's death), which it seems he is, who was he covering it up for? Who was Bill Barr protecting?"

BACKGROUND OF THE EPSTEIN CASE

Jeffrey Epstein, who was being tried on charges of sexually abusing dozens of girls under the age of 18, the youngest being 14, and creating a sex trafficking ring, was found dead in his cell at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Manhattan, New York, on August 10, 2019.

Authorities declared Epstein's cause of death to be suicide, but family members rejected this and expressed their suspicions.

Epstein's girlfriend, Ghislaine Maxwell, was found guilty in a trial where she was accused of assisting Epstein's illegal activities in an organization that lured underage girls into prostitution for certain wealthy individuals, celebrities, and government officials.

The Epstein case files, which began to be released last week, brought this issue back to the top of the agenda; a total of more than 4,500 documents released in 4 parts by the judge's decision revealed the relationships between Epstein and many famous names.

The released court documents included famous names such as Prince Andrew, former U.S. presidents Bill Clinton and Donald Trump, former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak, former U.S. Vice President Al Gore, actor Kevin Spacey, singer Michael Jackson, illusionist David Copperfield, lawyer Alan Dershowitz, and former New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson.

Although the names of Clinton and Trump appeared in the files, no charges were brought against the former presidents.
