Student protests in France spread to Berlin: Hundreds of young people marched in the rain

A march was held in Germany's capital, Berlin, in support of student protests organized in France demanding better education conditions. Approximately 300 students gathered near the Kleistpark metro station in the Schöneberg district and marched to the French High School located in the Mitte district.

The demonstrators sent a message of solidarity with the student movement in France while also reacting to cuts in the education sector in Germany. Slogans against mandatory military service also stood out during the march.

During the protest, which took place under heavy rain, signs reading "Solidarity with France," "Macron resign," "Make the resistance in France international," and "No to mandatory military service" were carried. During the demonstration, slogans of "Freedom for Palestine" were also chanted.

The march, which was held under extensive security measures, ended near the French High School.
