Success rate of Israel's air defense system over the last 24 hours revealed

U.S. and Israeli officials have made statements regarding the success rate of Israel's Iron Dome air defense system.

The U.S. official stated that the Iron Dome intercepted only 65 percent of the missiles sent from Iran within the last 24 hours.

A former senior Israeli intelligence official, who still receives daily government briefings, stated that this rate corresponds to a value of 90 percent when compared to yesterday's figures.

The Israeli official said, "Iran still has very advanced missiles and they are using them," adding, "As the faster missiles Iran has used in recent days approach their targets, Israel has less time to prepare."

EARLY WARNING TIME HAS DROPPED

Drawing attention to the speed of the missiles used by Iran, the Israeli official said, "Until yesterday, we were receiving early warnings 10 to 11 minutes before the missiles fell, but this morning that number dropped to between 6 and 7 minutes."

The official stated, "More importantly, the Iranians have a navigation system that allows them to be very precise for the final stage of the attack, as was the case at the hospital in Beersheba today, helping them strike exactly the targets they want."

On the other hand, Iran denied reports that it directly targeted the hospital in Beersheba, stating that the hospital was damaged due to the shockwave of an attack on a nearby military headquarters.
