Sweden to become NATO's 32nd member on March 11
Following approval from Hungary, which followed Turkey's, Sweden will officially join the Alliance as NATO's 32nd member on March 11.
According to information in the Swedish press, an official ceremony will be held at NATO headquarters in Brussels, the capital of Belgium, on March 11 for Sweden's membership.
The Swedish flag will be raised at NATO headquarters.
"WILL BE THE 32ND MEMBER OF THE ALLIANCE"
Thus, Sweden will become the 32nd member of the Alliance.
The Hungarian National Assembly approved Sweden's accession to NATO on February 26, thereby completing the approval process of all allies.
Sweden had applied for NATO membership on May 18, 2022.
