French President Emmanuel Macron and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman held a phone call.
In a statement released by the French Presidency, it was noted that Macron and Salman discussed the situation in Syria, and the following remarks were included:
'The leaders reiterated their commitment to supporting a fair and inclusive political transition that respects the rights of all Syrians.'
The statement also announced that a conference on Syria is planned to be held in the French capital, Paris, on February 13.
