Syrian administration reclaims 2 oil wells from PKK/YPG: Terrorists fled the region

The Military Operations Administration, affiliated with the new administration in Syria, announced that they have ended the occupation of 2 oil fields held by the PKK/YPG. The oil fields, located south of Raqqa, came under the control of the new Syrian government after the terrorists fled without putting up any resistance.

Forces of the Baath regime, which collapsed on December 8, 2024, had left certain regions to the terrorist organization PKK/YPG as they withdrew.

Forces affiliated with the Military Operations Administration entered the Resafa district south of Raqqa, which had previously been abandoned by Baath regime forces and handed over to the terrorist organization PKK/YPG.

The administration's forces took control of the Zemle and Abu al-Tabat oil fields, located west of the Euphrates.

During the advance of the security forces, the terrorists left the region without showing any resistance.

Oil was being extracted using 'primitive methods' in the fields controlled by the PKK/YPG
