Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa met with King Charles III of the United Kingdom as part of his first official visit to the UK.
Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa continues his official contacts during his first visit to the United Kingdom.
Al-Sharaa met with King Charles III at Buckingham Palace in the capital, London.
During the meeting, opportunities for developing cooperation between the two countries based on mutual interests were discussed. King Charles expressed his support for Syria and its people in their efforts to rebuild their country.
Met with the British business community
As part of his contacts, al-Sharaa and his accompanying delegation also held a series of meetings with high-level British officials as well as representatives of the business world.
Discussions with British company executives and business people focused on strengthening bilateral relations and increasing cooperation in the fields of development and investment.
