United States President Donald Trump will pay an official visit to Turkey on July 7, 2026, at the invitation of AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

The statement regarding the visit was made by Communications Director Burhanettin Duran. Duran stated that relations between Turkey and the US will be reviewed in all their dimensions, including defense, trade, and investments, during the meetings to be held in Ankara.

In his statement, Duran expressed that steps that can be taken to deepen the existing cooperation between the two countries will be discussed. It was also noted that views will be exchanged on global and regional developments during the meetings.

The full text of Duran's statement is as follows:

"Upon the invitation of our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, United States President Donald Trump will pay an official visit to our country on July 7, 2026.

In the meetings to be held in Ankara, relations between Turkey and the US, two close allies and strategic partners, will be reviewed in all their dimensions, including defense, trade, and investments, and steps that can be taken to deepen the existing cooperation will be discussed. Furthermore, views will be exchanged on global and regional developments during the meetings."
