Journalist Nevşin Mengü shared the latest information regarding the conflict that has begun between Israel and Palestine.
Hamas's armed wing, the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, announced on the morning of October 7 that it had launched "Operation Al-Aqsa Flood" against Israel and fired more than 5 thousand rockets. Following Hamas's statement, the Israeli military's response was not delayed.
As clashes in the region intensify, the death toll continues to rise.
Journalist Nevşin Mengü shared the latest information she obtained from the Israeli side. According to Mengü's post, more than 300 people, including healthcare workers, firefighters, and security forces, have lost their lives in the clashes.
Stating that dozens of Israeli citizens have been abducted to Gaza by Hamas, Mengü noted that the Sderot Police Station was also retaken by Israel following 20 hours of fighting.
According to Mengü's post, over 3200 missiles have been fired by Israel into Gaza. The number of dead and wounded on the Gaza side is not yet known.
Following the information she shared, Nevşin Mengü also assessed that "It is understood that Iran has the goal of spreading the conflict to the entire region."
