Traffic accident in Kenya: 15 dead
A traffic accident occurred in the Rift Valley region of Kenya. 15 people lost their lives as a result of a head-on collision between a passenger bus and a minibus on the Nakuru-Eldoret highway. An investigation into the accident has been launched.
Kenya'da Rift Vadisi bölgesinde meydana gelen trafik kazasında, sabah Nakuru-Eldoret otoyolunda yolcu otobüsü ile minibüsün kafa kafaya çarpıştı.
Rift Vadisi Polis Müdürü Tom Odero'nun açıklamasına göre, kazada ilk belirlemelere göre 15 kişi hayatını kaybetti. Olayla ilgili soruşturma başlatıldı, yaralılar tedavi için hastaneye kaldırıldı. Kenya Ulaştırma Bakanlığı verilerine göre, geçen sene ülkede meydana gelen kazalarda 4 bine yakın kişi yaşamını yitirdi.
