60 people were injured in Argentina after a commuter train collided with another train that was parked.
It has been announced that 60 people were injured in Argentina after two trains collided. In a statement made by the Emergency Medical Care System (SAME), it was stated that a train traveling on a bridge in the Palermo district of the capital Buenos Aires struck another train that was parked.
60 people, 30 of whom are in serious condition, were injured in the accident area where numerous search and rescue teams were dispatched.
Some passengers in critical condition were transported to other hospitals by helicopter.
According to reports in the local press, the commuter train struck the carriages of the parked train, which was undergoing maintenance.
A comprehensive investigation has been launched into the accident.
