The new route is envisioned to make logistics processes more efficient not only in passenger transport but also in freight transport.
It is stated that the modernization of the railway network could increase commercial activity in the region. Shorter travel times and more regular freight flow are among the factors that could contribute to the development of economic relations between the participating countries.
