Travel warning for Sudan from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs

Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Öncü Keçeli stated in a post on the X social media platform, "It is observed with regret that the security situation in Sudan is deteriorating. We advise our citizens to avoid traveling to Sudan except in cases of absolute necessity."

Noting that it is important for Turkish citizens currently in Sudan to continue following additional warnings and announcements that may be issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Turkish Embassy in Khartoum, and to take necessary precautions for their personal safety, Keçeli shared the contact information for the Embassy operating in Port Sudan and the Turkish Consular Call Center:
