Trilateral summit between Zelensky, Trump, and Macron

The reopening of the Notre-Dame Cathedral in France today brought world leaders together. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and the new US President Donald Trump, who came to the capital Paris for the opening, held a trilateral summit with French President Emmanuel Macron.

In a statement on his social media account following the meeting, Zelensky said, "I had a good and productive trilateral meeting with President Donald Trump and President Emmanuel Macron at the Elysee Palace. President Trump is, as always, resolute. I thank him. I also express my gratitude to Emmanuel for organizing this important meeting."

Touching upon the topics discussed at the meeting, Zelensky stated, "We all want this war to end as soon as possible and in a fair manner. We talked about our people, the situation on the ground, and a just peace. We agreed to continue working together and to remain in communication. Peace through strength is possible."
