Trump announced: Two narco-terrorists sent to their countries
In a statement on his social media account, US President Donald Trump stated that 2 "narco-terrorists" who survived a US military strike last Thursday on a submarine used for drug trafficking in the Caribbean will be extradited to Ecuador and Colombia to stand trial.
US President Donald Trump made a statement regarding the US military's strike last Thursday on a submarine used for drug trafficking in the Caribbean. Trump shared footage of the strike on his social media account.
In his statement, the US President said, "It was a great honor for me to destroy a very large drug-carrying submarine that was traveling toward the US on a well-known drug trafficking route.
US intelligence confirmed that this submarine was loaded with a large amount of Fentanyl and other illegal drugs. It is known that there were 4 narco-terrorists on the submarine. 2 of the terrorists were killed. If I had allowed this submarine to reach land, at least 25 thousand US citizens would have lost their lives," he said.
Trump also announced that the drug traffickers who survived the attack would be handed over to their countries. The US President stated, "The 2 surviving narco-terrorists are being extradited to their home countries of Ecuador and Colombia to be detained and tried. No US forces were harmed in this attack. Under my watch, the US will not tolerate narco-terrorists who engage in illegal drug trafficking by land or sea."
US President Donald Trump was asked a question about the fight against drug trafficking in the oceans while answering questions from members of the press yesterday at the White House before his bilateral meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Trump and US Secretary of Defense Marco Rubio had avoided giving details about the attack in question, stating that a public announcement would be made once the information regarding the matter was finalized.
