Trump: Blockade in Hormuz has begun

US President Donald Trump, in a statement regarding Iran, said, "We cannot allow a country to intimidate the world through blackmail or bullying. That is exactly what they are doing, they are truly intimidating the world with blackmail. We will not allow this to happen."

Regarding the blockade the US is implementing in the Strait of Hormuz, Trump said, "We have a blockade. They cannot do any business. Iran cannot do business in any way, and we will keep it that way. There is no conflict at the moment."

Trump stated that Iran had called them, adding, "They really want to make a deal."
