Trump calls Khamenei a 'sick man'! 'It is time to look for new leadership in Iran'
US President Donald Trump described Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei as a "sick man," stating, "It is time to look for new leadership in Iran. He should manage his country properly and stop killing people."
US President Donald Trump made statements regarding developments in Iran to the US-based news site Politico. Criticizing Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei with harsh words, Trump assessed, "The crime he has committed as the country's leader is the complete destruction of the country and the use of violence at a level never seen before." Describing Khamenei as a "sick man," Trump said, "He should manage his country properly and stop killing people. Iran is the worst place in the world to live because of his poor leadership."
"LEADERSHIP REQUIRES RESPECT, NOT FEAR AND DEATH"
Suggesting that Khamenei ensures the continuation of the regime by instilling fear in the public, Trump stated, "Leadership should focus on managing the country properly to keep it functioning, even at a very low level, just as I manage the US. Not by killing thousands of people to maintain control. Leadership requires respect, not fear and death." Emphasizing that a change in administration is necessary in Iran, Trump added, "It is time to look for new leadership in Iran."
KHAMENEI HAD ACCUSED TRUMP
Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei had accused the US and Israel of being directly involved in the violent incidents in his country. Labeling US President Donald Trump a "criminal," Khamenei had said, "The recent sedition was an American sedition, and the goal of the US was to swallow Iran. We consider the US president a criminal for the damages he has caused to the Iranian nation, the loss of life, and the slanders he has directed. The recent anti-Iran uprising was different in that the US president was personally involved."
