Trump continues to make consecutive statements on Iran: We are striking together with our Israeli partners

Trump described the ongoing war with Iran as a "short-term operation." Stating that "we will not stop until the enemy is completely and decisively defeated," Trump claimed that the war would end sooner than expected.

Donald Trump said, "Our country is in very good shape. Better than anyone expected. We carried out a small operation to eliminate some evils. You will see that this is a short-term operation." 

Trump's remarks, in which he praised the power of the US military during his speech, were applauded by the Republican representatives in the hall.

Trump claimed that Iran's military power had been largely neutralized. The US President argued that Iran's drone and missile capabilities had been severely weakened and that its navy had suffered heavy losses.

Trump said, "Iran's missile capacity has fallen to 10 percent, or perhaps even lower. We know all the points where their drone production takes place, and they are being hit one after another."

Stating that many Iranian ships had been sunk, Trump said, "Their navy is gone. They are all at the bottom of the sea. 51 ships were sunk."

Trump also shared that he had asked some military officials why the ships were not captured, and was told that sinking them was preferred for security reasons.

"IT IS NOT CLEAR WHO WILL RULE IRAN"

In his speech, Trump also touched upon the political uncertainty in Iran. Arguing that there is no clear picture regarding leadership in Iran following the killing of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Trump said it is unclear who the new administration in the country will be.

Trump stated, "Terrorist leaders have either been eliminated or are about to be eliminated. Now, no one knows who will be the ruler in the country."

The US President stated that the military operations conducted together with Israel have provided a strong military superiority against Iran. Saying that the operation is called "Epic Fury," Trump argued that the US and Israel are acting against Iran with a "display of technological skill and military power."

Trump said, "We are striking the enemy with overwhelming force together with our Israeli partners."

"WE SAVED ISRAEL"

Trump also claimed that the B-2 bomber attacks carried out by the US against Iran played a critical role. Arguing that Israel would have been under a major threat if these attacks had not been carried out, Trump claimed that Iran was also planning to attack the US in the near future.

Trump stated, "If we hadn't carried out that B-2 attack, Israel could have been destroyed. They would have attacked us too, 100 percent, within a week."

Stating that the operations the US is conducting against Iran will continue, Trump said their ultimate goal is to completely eliminate Iran's military capacity.

Stating that "we will not stop until the enemy is completely and decisively defeated," Trump claimed that the war would end sooner than expected.

At the end of his speech, emphasizing the US's position as a global power, the US President stated, "The United States is the greatest and most exceptional country in human history."

"WE HAVE NOT YET STRUCK MORE DESTRUCTIVE TARGETS"

Trump also mentioned that there are some critical infrastructure facilities in Iran that have not yet been targeted. Stating that targeting strategic facilities such as power generation could have long-term devastating consequences for Iran, Trump expressed that these targets have not been struck for the time being.

"If we wanted to, we could strike all of these targets in one day. But we are waiting to see what happens," said Trump, also alleging that the Iranian administration is trying to revive its nuclear activities. Arguing that the US and its allies had previously "completely destroyed" three nuclear facilities in Iran,

Trump claimed that Iran is attempting to build a new facility in a different region. According to Trump, the facility in question was being built within a structure reinforced with granite.

Stating that Iran is also rapidly increasing its ballistic missile capacity and arguing that this poses a threat to US military bases abroad, Trump claimed that if this program continues, Iran could reach the capacity to target US territory as well.

"THE STRAIT OF HORMUZ WILL REMAIN SECURE"

The US President stated that the security of the Strait of Hormuz, which is of critical importance for global energy trade, will be ensured. 

Stating that there are numerous US naval vessels in the region, Trump expressed that the security of the strait is under control.

Trump also touched upon developments in energy markets, arguing that the US is in a strong position regarding oil and natural gas.

Stating that US energy resources are sufficient, Trump said, "This situation affects other countries much more than it affects us. The US has very large oil and gas reserves, much more than we need."

Trump said that the new laser defense technologies developed by the US will soon begin to be used:

"The laser technology we have is incredible. It will be operational soon. Lasers will be able to do the job that Patriot systems and other defense systems do at a much lower cost."

Trump claimed that some regional countries are also on the US side in the operations against Iran. Stating that Iran's neighbors are also participating in the attacks, Trump argued that these operations have been "quite successful."
