U.S. President Donald Trump stated that they were unable to make progress on key issues during his phone call with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
U.S. President Donald Trump stated that he and Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed the issues of Ukraine and Iran during their phone call, but that no progress was made during the conversation.
Speaking to reporters at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland, Trump noted that he and Putin had a long conversation.
Touching on other items on the agenda, Trump said that his administration would likely begin sending letters on Friday to determine the customs duty rates that countries will face on their imports to the U.S.
Speaking to reporters before departing for Iowa, Trump stated that he expects to sign several more trade agreements in addition to the one announced with Vietnam on Wednesday.
Furthermore, Trump indicated that he would likely sign the economic package bill passed by Congress on Friday.
