US President Donald Trump made statements on his social media account regarding the Iran-backed Houthis in Yemen. Trump said, "The Houthis have been destroyed as a result of the attacks that have been ongoing for the last 2 weeks. Most of their fighters and leaders are no longer with us. We are hitting them harder every day and every night."
"STOP FIRING AT US SHIPS"
Stating that they are rapidly destroying the Houthis' capabilities that threaten maritime transport and the region, Trump said, "Our attacks will continue until they are no longer a threat to freedom of navigation. The choice for the Houthis is clear: stop firing at US ships, and we will stop firing at you. Otherwise, we have only just begun. The real pain for both the Houthis and their sponsors in Iran has yet to come."
