Trump: I want to take Kim to a baseball game

US presidential candidate Donald Trump said during a rally that he wants to take North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un to a baseball game.

In the continuation of his speech, Trump claimed that he "got along very well" with Kim while he was in office.

Speaking about the North Korean leader, Trump said, "Getting along is good, not bad. I would tell him, 'Why don't you do something else?' All he wants to do is buy and make nuclear weapons. I told him, 'Relax, take it easy.' You have enough. He has so many nuclear weapons."

Trump, who does not want the nuclear weapons tension to escalate, continued his speech by saying, "I told him to relax, 'let's go to a baseball game, I'll show you how baseball is played.' We'll go watch the Yankees."

The former president had made similar remarks at the Republican National Convention held in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on Thursday.

In his opening speech, Trump had said, "I get along with him, and he wants to see me as president. If you want to know, I think he misses me."
