Trump: If Iran reaches a deal, the blockade will be lifted

In a telephone interview with CBS News, US President Trump expressed that they are very close to a US-Iran agreement.

Trump stated that Tehran has "agreed on every issue" and "will cooperate with the US to remove enriched uranium from Iran."

Emphasizing that American soldiers will not set foot in the country to remove the enriched uranium, Trump stated that "his own men" would work with the Iranians to remove it.

Enriched uranium will be brought to the US

Trump said, "We will go there and get it with them, and then we will take it away. We will get it together because by then we will have made a deal, and there is no need to fight when there is a deal. Our men will work with the Iranians to get the uranium, and then we will take it to the US."

The US President also claimed that Iran has agreed to stop supporting Hezbollah and Hamas.

Noting that representatives from the two countries are expected to meet this weekend, Trump avoided giving a clear statement on exactly when the final agreement might be signed.
