Trump: 'Immigrants are a bigger threat than Putin... Let's not end up like Europe'

US President Donald Trump stated that illegal immigrants pose a greater threat than Russian President Vladimir Putin. Trump urged Americans to focus on the criminals entering the country.

In a post on the Truth Social platform, Trump stated the following:

'We should spend less time worrying about Putin. We should be more worried about the immigrant gangs, drug lords, murderers, and people coming from mental institutions entering our country. So that we don't end up like Europe.'

The migration issue has recently become the main agenda item in elections held in the US and Europe. This situation has led to the strengthening of far-right parties. The Trump administration has implemented rapid deportations and stricter sanctions as part of its fight against illegal immigration.

Trump's remarks came after a tense debate he had with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. In the discussion, which was also attended by US Vice President JD Vance, Zelenskyy expressed his doubts about whether the US approach of establishing a dialogue with Putin could achieve lasting peace.

European leaders gathered in London to renew their support for Ukraine following the debate between Trump and Zelenskyy. While Russia accused Europe of 'wanting war,' European countries decided to form a 'military coalition' for Ukraine.
