Trump lists the new states of the US
US President Donald Trump continues to openly express annexation threats toward other countries.
US President Donald Trump attended the Alfalfa Club event held in Washington over the weekend.
In his speech there, Trump said he wanted to make Canada, Greenland, and Venezuela new states of the US.
Making a statement regarding Greenland, Trump said, “We will not invade Greenland, we will buy it.
I never wanted to make Greenland the 51st state. I want to make Canada the 51st state. Greenland will be the 52nd state, and Venezuela could be the 53rd,” he stated.
At the event, Trump also addressed Kevin Warsh, whom he nominated for the chairmanship of the US Federal Reserve (Fed), saying, “If he doesn't lower interest rates, I will sue him. I'm joking,” he said.
