Trump openly threatens Afghanistan! 'Bad things will happen...'
US President Donald Trump has reiterated his desire to regain control of the Bagram Air Base in Afghanistan, stating, "If Afghanistan does not return the Bagram Air Base to the US, which built it, bad things will happen."
A threatening statement toward Afghanistan has come from US President Donald Trump. In a post on his own Truth social media platform, Trump reiterated his desire to regain control of the Bagram Air Base in Afghanistan, stating, "If Afghanistan does not return the Bagram Air Base to the US, which built it, bad things will happen."

HE HAD ANNOUNCED HE WANTED TO TAKE THE BASE BACK
US President Donald Trump had previously criticized the Joe Biden administration for the US forces' abandonment of the Bagram Air Base during the withdrawal from Afghanistan. Stating that they were in talks with Afghanistan to take the base back, Trump had said, "We'll see what happens with Bagram. We are talking to Afghanistan about getting it back. It should never have been given up." Expressing that they wanted the Bagram Air Base back due to its strategic importance, Trump had stated, "One of the reasons we want the base is that it is one hour away from where China produces its nuclear weapons."
