STATEMENT FROM THE WHITE HOUSE ON THE DEAL
The White House shared the information that no deal was signed between Trump and Zelensky. Zelensky's speech at Hudson University in Washington was canceled.
STATEMENT FROM TRUMP AFTER THE FIGHT
Donald Trump made a post on his social media account after the fight in the Oval Office. In his statement evaluating the argument with Zelensky, Trump said the following:
“We had a very meaningful meeting at the White House today. A lot was learned that could never be understood without talking under such fire and pressure. What the emotions revealed is incredible, and I determined that President Zelensky is not ready for Peace when America is involved because he thinks our involvement gives him a huge advantage in negotiations. I don't want an advantage, I want PEACE.
He disrespected the United States, in its precious Oval Office. He can return when he is ready for peace."
TRUMP WANTS RARE ELEMENTS
US President Donald Trump wants to get back the money given to Ukraine in the ongoing war with Russia "somehow."
The US President intends to sign a deal regarding rare elements in Ukraine for this purpose.
It is estimated that Trump is interested in Ukraine's rare earth elements to use in intensive industrial production in the US and to break China's superiority in rare earth elements.
Trump had previously stated on the subject, "We will sign a deal, it will be a very big deal. It is also a great deal for Ukraine because they are taking us there and we will work there. This way, automatic security will be provided because no one will be able to mess with our people while we are there.”
