Trump speaks on war with Iran: We will win this war very soon

US President Donald Trump answered questions regarding the foreign policy agenda following a press conference he held at the White House. Arguing that he has prevented Iran from possessing nuclear weapons, Trump claimed that this is a significant achievement not only for the US but also for the world.

Stating that they are preparing for the Congressional midterm elections to be held on November 3, Trump claimed in his assessment regarding Iran that the war would end soon.

Iran will never have a nuclear weapon. We will win this war very soon and everything will be over. Gasoline prices will also drop significantly. No one else could have achieved this but us.

Trump argued that if Iran were to possess nuclear weapons, Israel's existence would be under threat. The US President suggested that the Middle East and Europe would also face serious risks due to a nuclear-armed Iran.

During the press conference, Trump also touched upon his meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping at the White House last week, describing the meeting as "very successful." Trump said, "If I were to give a score between 0 and 10, I would give this meeting a 12."

Evaluating reports that the US could sell American weapons to China, Trump said these claims were not true and that this issue was not discussed with Xi.

Trump also responded to a question regarding individuals who were detained near an airbase in the UK and later released on bail. Stating that the suspects might be linked to Iran, Trump noted that British authorities are working closely with the US and remarked, "We wouldn't have released them; it was a surprise to us."

Touching on the issue of customs duties with Canada, Trump described Canada's practices as "very unfair." The US President argued that Canada would change its stance within 3-4 weeks and apologize to Washington.
