Trump takes action against immigrants: More than 200 executive orders in one day

Speaking at the 'Make America Great Again Victory Rally' held at the Capital One Arena in Washington, new U.S. President Donald Trump stated that he would immediately stop uncontrolled immigration.

Trump said, 'By the time the sun sets tomorrow, the invasion of our country will have stopped.'

The new U.S. President reiterated his campaign promise to 'launch the largest deportation effort in U.S. history,' which would deport millions of immigrants. 

In his victory speech before his supporters, Trump noted the following:

'This is the greatest political movement in American history, and 75 days ago, we achieved the most epic political victory our country has ever seen. Starting tomorrow, I will act with a speed that will go down in history and I will solve every crisis our country is facing.'

'REMAIN IN MEXICO' POLICY BEGINS

Promising to cancel all of the Biden administration's 'radical and stupid executive orders' within hours of taking office, it has been suggested that Trump will sign more than 200 administrative orders today (January 20). The 'Remain in Mexico' policy, announced by Republicans during the campaign, is also expected to be put into effect through a series of decisions.

According to a Reuters report, sources close to the president claimed that the anti-immigration plan, which 'will likely take years and be very costly,' would be implemented on Trump's first day in office. 

Another source stated that border security would occupy a significant place in Trump's first presidential executive orders. 

Among the executive orders expected to be signed on the first day are: classifying drug cartels as 'foreign terrorist organizations,' declaring a state of emergency at the U.S.-Mexico border, and reinstating the 'Remain in Mexico' policy, which requires non-Mexican asylum seekers to wait in Mexico for their U.S. court dates.
