Trump to receive record compensation from YouTube
It has been reported that the platform has agreed to pay 24.5 million dollars in the lawsuit filed by Donald Trump against YouTube.
US President Donald Trump has reached a settlement in the lawsuit he filed against YouTube over the suspension of his account in 2021. As part of the agreement, it was announced that YouTube has agreed to pay Trump 24.5 million dollars.
According to a report by the Wall Street Journal based on court documents, 22 million dollars of this amount will be given directly to Trump. The remaining 2.5 million dollars will be distributed among other plaintiffs, such as author Naomi Wolf and the American Conservative Union (ACU).
