Trump to use 'military' card for illegal immigrants
The new US President Donald Trump has announced that he will use the US military to the extent permitted by law to deport illegal immigrants currently in the United States.
Weeks before taking office, Donald Trump addressed his policy regarding illegal immigrants in the US in an interview with the American press.
Trump announced that he would use the US military to the extent permitted by law to deport illegal immigrants. When reminded of the law that prevents the military from being used for this purpose, Trump argued that illegal immigration constitutes an invasion that must be stopped.
Trump stated, "I view this as an invasion of our country. We will take the National Guard and we will go as far as is permitted under the laws of our country. I don't want them sitting in camps for the next 20 years. I want them deported and I want their countries to take them back."
