Trump's Middle East statement: We will not allow this
US President Donald Trump said, "The Middle East could become a dangerous place."
US President Donald Trump made statements to members of the press while attending the opening of a musical at the Kennedy Center in Washington with his wife, Melania Trump.
Commenting on the withdrawal of non-essential American personnel from certain countries in the Middle East during his remarks there, Trump said, "They are withdrawing because it could become a dangerous place. We will see what happens. We have issued the notification for them to withdraw. They cannot have a nuclear weapon. That is very clear. They cannot have a nuclear weapon. We will not allow this."
"THE US MILITARY WILL WIN VICTORY AFTER VICTORY"
In a statement on the social media platform Truth Social, Trump said, "The US Military will win victory after victory in the coming days and for every generation to come, I am more confident of this than ever before. You will show endless courage. You will protect every inch of US soil and defend America all around the world!"
Regarding the steps taken by the US to evacuate its personnel in the Middle East, a report in the Israeli press included a statement from a US State Department official. It was noted that the official stated, "President Trump is committed to keeping Americans safe both at home and abroad. In line with this commitment, we are constantly evaluating the status of appropriate personnel at all our embassies. Based on our latest analysis, we have made the decision to reduce our mission presence in Iraq."
The report also shared that the US State Department has authorized the departure of non-essential personnel and family members from Bahrain and Kuwait.
In addition, it was announced that US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth has approved the voluntary departure of family members of military personnel in various parts of the Middle East.
The evacuations initiated by the US, citing growing security concerns in the Middle East, come at a time when the Trump administration is seeking a new nuclear deal with Iran and tensions between Iran and Israel are escalating.
